Taylor Swift just made history as “The Era’s Tour” is officially the first ever tour to gross over $1 billion USD.

As per Pollstar, the engagement grossed a total of $1,039,263,762 USD and is now the single highest-grossing tour of all time. She was able to hit the billion-dollar mark with 60 shows in a span of eight months — starting from the tour’s first show in March until the Buenos Aires show in November — with 4.3 million tickets sold at an average price of $238.95 USD each ticket. To top it off, she grossed around $200 million USD in tour merch revenue alone as she also had merch trailers set up outside her concert venues in between shows.

Swift is expected to earn another $1.125 billion USD from the tour’s 2024 leg, which will see her perform 65 shows in Asia, Australia, Europe and the UK in addition to more US dates. Pollstar notes that “The Eras Tour” could possibly earn a whopping $2.165 billion USD in total.
