Swatch Unveils New Moonshine MoonSwatch Inspired by the Cold Moon
Featuring a a seconds hand made of OMEGA’s Moonshine™ Gold.

Closing out 2023, Swatch has unveiled its final addition to its ever-expanding lineup of MoonSwatch watches: the Mission to the Moon.
Taking inspiration from the moon’s bright shine in a deep blue sky, the timepiece boasts an exclusive yellow-gold alloy hand, which the company produces once a month during full moon dates. “This Mission to the Moon has a seconds hand made of OMEGA’s Moonshine™ Gold featuring a snowflake pattern as a homage to the Cold Moon and a secret detail that glows in the dark,” Swatch wrote on Instagram, revealing the design.

The watch marks the latest entry in the MoonSwatch line, which has seen a new iteration every month since March of this year. Notably, this Cold Moon version joins the likes of the popular Neptune-based model, which launched in August.
The Mission to the Moon features a velcro strap and a bioceramic case, which measures 42mm in diameter and 13.25mm in thickness. The device operates with quartz movements, and it features three-bar water resistance.
Swatch’s Mission to the Moon watch will become available to shop in select Swatch stores on December 27. The timpiece will be priced at $300 USD. Take a closer look at the design in the gallery above. More information can be found on Swatch’s dedicated webpage.
