Reebok and Eames Office Reveal Third and Final Footwear Collaboration
With tribute-making takes on the Classic Nylon, the Instapump Fury and the Beatnik.
After first collaborating on a special F&F Reebok Club C in September 2021, Reebok and Eames Office have gone on to build an entire universe of crossover sneakers, which have included “Fiberglass” packs, The Coloring Toy-inspired Reebok Classic Leather shoes and more. Now, the duo has revealed their third and final collaboration, celebrating the design language of Charles and Ray Eames with three distinct models.
Leading the pack, the Reebok x Eames Classic Nylon offers a unisex take on Rebook’s staple Classic Nylon shoe, with a side window featuring the Eames name in the designer’s signature tones. The design enlists a custom Eames footbed and tongue label, and it arrives in a custom Eames box with five laces.
The Reebox x Eames Instapump Fury 95, meanwhile, merges the titular sneaker’s classic shape with the creative language of the Eames designers through a nod to their contributions to the IBM pavilion for the 1964 World’s Fair. The shoe adopts an Eames-labeled pump bladder and heel, as well as a custom Eames footbed for maximized comfort.
Rounding out the collection, the Reebok x Eames – Beatnik revamps the signature namesake silhouette with Eames’ renowned Crosspatch patterns, which were taken from the Eames Office archives. The custom outsole offers a tribute to the designers’ distinct craftsmanship, and each pair comes in a custom box for collectors.
