Hideo Kojima Documentary 'Connecting Worlds' To Premiere on Disney+ in Spring 2024
The docu follows the video game auteur’s journey and creative process as he launched his own studio.
The Hideo Kojima – Connecting Worlds documentary is set to receive a Spring 2024 premiere on Disney+.
Helmed by Glen Milner, the documentary first premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this June and follows the video game designer’s journey and creative process as he launched his very own Kojima Productions. Kojima’s collaborators and colleagues like Guillermo del Toro, Nicholas Winding Refn, Grimes, George Miller, Norman Reedus, Woodkid and Chvrches also appear to talk about the video game auteur.
The announcement arrives shortly after it was announced that Kojima and Jordan Peele will be working together on the upcoming horror video game, OD. A 90-second trailer unveiled at the 2023 Game Awards showed actors Hunter Schafer, Sophia Lillis and Udo Kier in a pitch-dark room reading nursery rhymes while growing increasingly panicked. There’s the sound of a door opening and Lillis screams before the video cuts.
