Mizuno is teaming up once again with nonnative for a new iteration of the Wave Mujin TL Mid GTX model. Back in spring, the two Japanese brands released the shoe in an earthy, “Vintage Khaki” look. Their latest collaborative efforts reveal a stealthy, all-black iteration of the model that goes by an aptly named “Black” colorway.

Just like its former variant, the shoe boasts a subtle gradient all the while maintaining a monochromatic look. Arriving in its usual laceless boot silhouette, the new Wave Mujin TL Mid GTX upholds all of its predecessor’s signature features, as well as its sued and knitted fabric build.

The upper comes in a snug and stretchy knit material that wraps around ankles like a sock for ultimate comfort. It’s also waterproof, as it’s coated in GORE-TEX to tailor for the unpredictability of outdoor weather. Meanwhile, the outsole features a toothed and lugged form, ensured by MICHELIN for enhanced grip against slippery and uneven surfaces.

Launching on December 16, the collaborative sneakers will be exclusively available via nonnative and Mizuno’s official online shops, alongisde a handful of retailers only for ¥29,000 JPY (approximately $198 USD).
