Eames Office and Reebok Reconnect for "Fiberglass" Pack
Inspired by the studio’s iconic molded fiberglass chairs.
Continuing their partnership which began in September of last year with a special F&F Reebok Club C, Eames Office and Reebok reconnect once again for a three-piece collaboration in homage to the iconic Eames Molded Fiberglass Chair debuted in 1950.
The upcoming pairs are found in specially-treated leather uppers developed to mimic the texture of fiberglass featuring debossed Eames signature imprints along the laterals and woven tongue tabs. Additional details include premium terry materials lining the insoles, natural rubber midsoles below, and insoles featuring a 16mm print taken from the archives. Colorways available include “Parchment” and “Sea Foam Green” inspired by two of the earliest models of Eames’ fiberglass chairs and a vivid “Pink” color that dates from 1968. Rounding out the offering are three pairs of laces and a collectible Eames DAX Chair keychain.
“These heritage court-inspired shoes represent a continuation of the landmark collaboration between the Eames Office and Reebok. The rebellious spirit and optimism of the Classic Leather series shoes perfectly complement the Eames Office’s design vision,” writes Eames in the description.
The Reebok x Eames office Classic Leather “Fiberglass” pack will be available on November 17 at the Eames Office website and will release via Reebok on November 19. Each pair is priced at $120 USD.
