These Two New Balance 1906Us Celebrate the Lunar New Year
Appearing in pink and off-white color arrangements.
The holiday season is in full force but there’s more celebrating to be done in 2024 with Lunar New Year festivities just around the corner. In years past, brands such as New Balance have commemorated the festival with thematic ranges of footwear. Looking ahead to next year, New Balance is again partaking in the fun by utilizing its newly-unveiled 1906U silhouette in pink and off-white colorways.
In our first preview of the capsule, the utility-oriented version of the 1906 is constructed with a ripstop textile base and synthetic overlays in both of its looks. The first favors pink as its signature hue, with the light color dressing a majority of the upper and accenting the N-ERGY-cushioned sole unit. As for the other pair, off-white is balanced with silver hits making an appearance again at the “N” logo and a portion of the overlays.
While New Balance has yet to officially unveil its collection for Lunar New Year, including these two 1906U colorways, select retailers such as Up There have the 1906Us available now at a price of $164 USD. Stay tuned for updates as we expect the entire range to be unveiled in the next month.
