Continuing to share his appreciation for New York City, designer Takahiro Miyashita‘s TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. has now unveiled a Manhattan skyscraper-inspired speaker. The sculpture meets ultra-high performance speaker pays homage to the historic Flatiron Building found on 5th Avenue in Manhattan.

Crafted of polycarbonate resin all the shapes and details of the building are represented on the 110 cm speaker. Situated inside the speaker are seven audio units with an output of 2000W, with a wide amplifier frequency of 20Hz to 25KHz. Additionally, TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. has prepared an accompanying T-shirt marked with the designer’s signature “Listen To The Soloist.” message.

Priced at ¥879,890 JPY (approximately $6,190 USD), the Manhattan skyscraper-inspired speaker is available now on TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist.’s website.
