Nas Connects With WIND AND SEA for Their First Capsule Collaboration
Featuring a range of hoodies, sweaters, long-sleeve tops, and T-shirts.
The iconic East Coast rapper, Nas has enlisted Takashi Kumagai’s clothing label, WIND AND SEA for a capsule collection — marking the two duo’s first-ever collaboration.
The 19-piece collection comprises a range of hoodies, sweaters, long-sleeve tops, and T-shirts. From bold graphic prints that were recreated from Nas’ portraits to more understated designs featuring letterings in Gothic-style typefaces, the garments were rendered in a palette of black, blue, white, sand, and touches of red.
Among the array of styles, the NAS GRAPHIC PARKA/ BLUE is one of the main hero pieces. The entire hoodie is doused in a full-color digital print depicting a skyline silhouette against a darkened blue sky. On the front is a high-contrast portrait short of Nas, while “SEA” appears in an Old English font on the back. Another noteworthy highlight is the NAS L/S TEE 2 that’s emblazoned with “NAS AND” on the front, and “SEA” in small print at the back as a collaborative play on words for WIND AND SEA.
The collection is now available via WIND AND SEA’s official online shop, with prices that go between ¥11,000 – ¥41,800 JPY (approximately $77 – $294 USD).
