Watch the Official Story Trailer for 'TEKKEN 8'
Ahead of the game’s release in January.
The fighting game community is charged up and ready for the latest entry in the TEKKEN series, TEKKEN 8, to finally release next year. Throughout 2023, various trailers have teased what to expect from the much-anticipated title with characters such as King highlighted.
Now, the official story trailer for TEKKEN 8 has been revealed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. In its two minute preview, Jin Kazama has been stripped of his power while Kazuya Mishima looks to be stronger than ever as the two continue to clash. The battle between the Kazama and Mishima clans rages on as the long-running storyline is expanded upon as “The Dark Awakens.”
Release for TEKKEN 8 takes place on January 26 via Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC at a starting price of $70 USD for the standard edition of the game. Pre-orders are available now and include the standard, deluxe, ultimate and collector’s editions. In the meantime, a playable demo of the title has launched for the PlayStation 5 with it later arriving on the Xbox Series X|S and PC on December 21.
