God Selection XXX and Converse Addict Ready the Chuck Taylor Canvas TX OX in “Black”
Launching in Japan on December 10.
Streetwear label GOD SELECTION XXX has joined forces with Converse’s more up-market offshoot, Converse Addict for a collaborative take on the Chuck Taylor Low Top sneakers.
Featuring a minimalistic black-and-white color palette, the low-top canvas model boasts a solid-toned upper paired with tonal laces. On the shoe’s out-facing sides, the words “TRIPLE X” can be spotted in simple embroidery on a typewriter-esque front. The rest of the upper is embellished with contrasting double-stitched details in white, complete with other Converse’s signature features such as silver-tone eyelets and preformation vents.
While the toe cap, bumper, and outsole come in a classic white, it’s punctuated with a thick black stripe across the outsoles. Completing the shoe is Converse’s emblematic heel label in an inverted colorway.
Set to release in Japan on December 10, the shoes will be available via GOD SELECTION XXX with a price point of ¥27,500 JPY (approximately $187 USD).
