Drake and Morgan Wallen Go to Dinner in “You Broke My Heart” Video
One of 2023’s more unexpected link ups.
Drake has dropped off another For All The Dogs visual. Directed by Theo Skudra, The Boy enlists a more unlikely collaborator – none other than country musician Morgan Wallen – to co-star in the dynamic music video for the “f*ck my ex” anthem, “You Broke My Heart.”
“Tell me I know you want to say it,” Drake presses Wallen as the two enjoy a dimly lit dinner. “I didn’t like her … I think she might’ve been the wrong girl anyway,” Wallen explains from across the table. “Let’s see what else is out there. That’s what we need to do,” the rapper tells Wallen as they wrap the meal and ready to hit the streets.
The duo drives off in the car – right after dancers Grace Matthews and Taylor Morris (whose first names also subtly appear as the street names) sneakily detonate a bomb inside the vehicle. Matthews and Moris deliver the hard-hitting lyrics – with extra emphasis on “f*ck my ex” – as the car burns behind them and the cops eventually arrive.
