Drake Drops New Nike NOCTA 8K Peaks Apparel Collection
Dropping at midnight EST on December 5.
Shortly after dropping the NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 “Love You Forever” campaign, Drake is gearing up for a new apparel drop. As of writing, the latest Nike NOCTA 8K Peaks apparel collection arrives later tonight.
Continuing to build on its functional and technical theme, the upcoming apparel collection is inspired Nirmal Purja, a Nepalese born world-renowned mountaineer and holder of many mountain climbing records. Purja has been recognized for ascending 14 eight-thousanders (peaks above 8,000 meters) within an unprecedented period. A climber used to the harsh conditions brought on by the mountainous landscapes, the collection includes outerwear and apparel for the colder climates.
Amongst the drop, NOCTA reveals a polyester sherpa lined jacket that is water repellent and features a stowaway removable hood. To ensure that body temperatures are regulated, the collection also features a Tahr Sherpa Zip-up Jacket in deep jungle and iron grey. Other pieces like the long-sleeve t-shirt in orange horizon and obsedian as well as the women’s chalet polar top and pants suit complement the key outerwear pieces for the collection. With functionality at the forefront, summit pants that are essentially waterproof track pants with mesh lining and multi pockets are available in deep jungle and black. Balaclavas are made with breathable material as are the headbands.
Look out for the drop on NOCTA on December 4 at 9 p.m. PST or Decenber 5 12 a.m. EST and on the SNKRS app starting on December 6 EST.
