First spotted back in April, the Nike Air Max 97 Futura builds upon the legacy of the Air Max 97 by modernizing the classic runner. While it hasn’t made its official retail debut, new looks continue to appear with a stealthy “Triple Black” being the most recent to pop-up.

Now, it joins the Air Force 1 Low and Dunk Low in carrying Nike’s brown “Cacao Wow” color. Its layered upper utilizes the rich brown hue across its build as suede, leather and synthetic materials combine to create the shoe’s signature structure. Supporting the sneaker, an oversized sole unit features a white midsole and a full-length visible Air unit while a semi-translucent outsole rounds out the pair.

At the time of writing, Nike has not shared any release details pertaining to this “Cacao Wow” colorway of the Air Max 97 Futura. Stay tuned for updates as it’s currently expected to release by the end of the year via Nike and select retailers at a starting price of $170 USD.
