Aminé's New Balance 610S "Mini Mooz" Is Limited to 503 Pairs
The three colorways are set to release in Portland, New York City and online respectively.
Portland-based artist Aminé has had an electric 2023. Releasing a collaborative album with producer KAYTRANADA that was aptly-titled KAYTRAMINÉ, he went on to launch his first footwear collaboration with New Balance — outfitting the 610T in brown and yellow. Now, he’s reconnected with the American sportswear brand to create a very-limited run of the New Balance 610S “Mini Mooz.”
Utilizing the slip-on version of the New Balance 610 that has been teased via the brand’s Tokyo Design Studio line previously, Aminé continues to create with his signature banana theme. Three colorways have been crafted to represent the lifecycle of a banana — from a not-quite-ripe green to a just-right yellow and finally an overripe brown. Each pair features a mini Club Banana logo at the center of the shoe, sockliner co-branding and special packaging.
Release for Aminé’s New Balance 610S “Mini Mooz” begins on November 10 in Portland, OR, where 100 pairs of the green colorway will be available via Kee’s Loaded Kitchen. Shortly thereafter, New York City, NYC will be treated to 100 units of the yellow colorway via Morgenstern’s Bananas on November 12. Wrapping up the rollout, the remaining 303 pairs will be made available via Aminé’s Club Banana webstore in the brown look on November 15.
