Lamborghini Introduces the Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario
The beloved V10 features new racing-inspired livery as well as updated shocks and aerodynamics.
Lamborghini has unvield the Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario at the Lamborghini World Finals 2023 in Vallelunga. By its simplest definition, the vehicle is an updated Huracán with a performance package, including new legacy inspired livery as well as updated shocks, aerodynamics and exhaust.
“The Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario is not only a tribute to our racing division Squadra Corse,” said Rouven Mohr, the Chief Technical Officer of Automobili Lamborghini, adding “but a concrete demonstration of how experience gained in motorsport can be effectively transferred to the road product, enhancing performance and driving pleasure. We firmly believe that motorsport is the most technically sophisticated and challenging test bed, and Squadra Corse’s know-how is a valuable asset that deserves to be highlighted on unique models and limited road series with a racing vocation.”
The car’s livery, inspired by the Lamborghini SC63, the brand’s upcoming hybrid prototype for the Hypercar/GTP class, features a dynamic combination of Verde Mantis green and Nero Noctis black, accented by a tricolor band that’s representative of the Italian flag. The design showcases the “Squadra Corse 10° Anniversario” logo on both doors, celebrating the division’s impressive track record, including three consecutive GTD class wins at the 24 Hours at Daytona and over 50 GT3 category titles.
A key feature of the Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario is its full carbon fibre package, which includes a Rosso Mars red stripe that adds to its sporty aesthetics. Additionally, the Squadra Corse logo is featured on the rear fin, extending from the airscoop across the rear hood, further emphasizing its racing DNA.
At the interior, it becomes clear that this car is designed for the track, with its sport seats upholstered in Nero Ade black Alcantara with Verde Fauns green stitching, equipped with four-point seat belts. An aluminum roll bar is also present to ensure safety, while the carbon fibre floor covering and a carbon fibre plaque on the rear firewall highlight the car’s exclusivity.
What sets the Huracán STO SC 10° Anniversario apart is its performance kit, a first for a road-legal vehicle from Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse. The kit enhances the car’s dynamic qualities and track performance, featuring two new front carbon fibre flicks on the bonnet and a rear wing set at a higher angle for increased downforce. The car’s mechanical grip is significantly boosted by four-way adjustable racing-derived shock absorbers, replacing the standard active components.
Through a collaboration with Bridgestone, the vehicle features new tires, specifically developed to maximize performance and durability. The car’s sound is amplified by an Akrapovic titanium exhaust, ensuring the V10’s roar is heard in all its glory.
