Drake Delivers 'Scary Hours 3' EP 'For All the Dogs Scary Hours Edition'

Drake has dropped off the third installment in his Scary Hours franchise, For All the Dogs Scary Hours Edition.

The project arrives following a surprise announcement from The Boy, who revealed in a tw0-minute teaser that the project was created in just five days. “Ultimately, it’s coming to me in a way that I haven’t experienced maybe since like If You’re Reading This where it’s kinda just like, I feel like I’m on drugs. I feel like I’m in that mental state without doing anything,” he said in the visual. “I did those songs in the last five days. I didn’t have one bar written down for those songs on the night that For All the Dogs dropped. That’s not picking up from some unfinished shit, you know. It’s happening on it’s own, and who am I to fight it, right? And to fight back against the right thing would be, well, you know.”

Scary Hours 3 features a total of a whopping 29 tracks and clocks in at almost two hours, including the original tracks on For All the Dogs and six brand new tracks with a second feature from J. Cole on “Evil Ways.” OVO’s Noel Cadastre, NBA star Kevin Durant and Drizzy serve as executive producers.

The new EP is the first in the franchise since 2021 and follows For All the Dogs. Fans were pleasantly surprised with the release, seeing as Drake stated in early October that he will be taking a break from new music due to some health issues. “I’ve been having the craziest problems with my stomach for years. I need to get right, I have a lot of other things I would love to focus on so I’m going to lock the door on the studio for a little bit. I don’t know what a little bit is. Maybe a year or something. Maybe a little bit longer,” he said. It remains to be seen whether he will follow through with this break after this project.
