For its latest collaboration, Albino & Preto has come together with Japanese label DESCENDANT for a release that represents the drive for constant improvement and progress. Fueled by the ethos of “Unbeaten by Rain & Wind,” the special range was realized by A&P Director Arvie Gimeno and DESCENDANT Director Tetsu Nishiyama who have been friends for years now. Sharing a common appreciation for each other’s manufacturing and thinking, the collaboration draws inspiration from maritime themes, blending the two brand identities seamlessly.

“Like a crew working together towards a common goal in any conditions, this reflects the spirit of jiu-jitsu. In jiu-jitsu, the pursuit of mental, technical, and physical excellence is a never-ending journey driven by determination. “Give Life Meaning” focuses on moving with purpose and intention, whether it be in creation or practice,” shares Albino & Preto.

The DESCENDANT x Albino & Preto cotton twill kimono jacket features co-branding on a subtle gray base reminiscent of tatami mats. Detailing comes in the form of a co-branded back badge and embroidered signature logos from DESCENDANT and A&P at the shoulders. Aside from the matching pants, the special range also features an accompanying rashguard, wearable kimono jacket, graphic print T-shirts, a 5-panel camp cap, and a face towel.

Check out the range above and shop the DESCENDANT x Albino & Preto collection when it releases November 11 via DESCENDANT and on Albino & Preto’s website.
