MM6 Maison Margiela X Salomon Reveals Drop 2 of Its Collaboration
Focusing on a footwear and a backpack release.

With gorpcore at the height of modern day trends, the MM6 Maison Margiela x Salomon comes just in time for the transitional fall weather. For the second phase of the releases, the brand continues to share its innovative and functional design ethos with the launch of a set of new products.
Arriving in a selection of Cross Mid trainers made popular by Rihanna‘s Super Bowl outfit, the second phase also sees a launch of the XT 15 backpack in three different colorways. The Salomon XT 15 backpack is reinterpreted in line with the MM6 Maison Margiela’s modern design principles. The backpack features discreet front pockets as well as a stability-enhancing waistband. With mesh construction, the bag also has added breathability for outdoor adventures and multiple storage options. The bag is versatile for everyday use, triathlon training sessions, to trail hikes. It arrives in black, bitter chocolate and slate blue and features co-branded logo on the outer back.
In terms of the Cross Mid trainers, the shoe has a technical design that is fit for performance wear. Along with the inner slip-on shoe and chunky, high-grip rubber sole the rest of the silhouette is fused with a toggled waterproof gaiter to produce the shoe’s unconventional midcut shape. The bold look comes in two color schemes slate blue, graphite and rose as well as bitter chocolate, ice blue and moonstone grey hues.
The second drop of the collection drops on October 12 at Maison Margiela.
