Following their FW20 campaign, Woolrich and artist Lucien Smith have reunited for another collaboration. This time, the American outerwear label has joined forces with Serving the People, Lucien’s non-profit organization dedicated to reshaping cultural infrastructure to provide new platforms for young creators and emerging talent.

The collaboration visits Woolrich’s archives, with the intention of preserving and highlighting moments in the brand’s history. After examining the brand’s heritage, Lucien enlisted Fergus Purcell, better known as Fergadelic, to design a signature logo for the partnership, which appears on pieces throughout the range.

Titled “Woolrich by STP,” the collection begins with a red and black hunting check, which was created in Pennsylvania’s Mill over a century ago and now lives on a half-zip fleece jacket. Second, the line features Shadowbark, a classic camouflage pattern that Woolrich invented in 1987. The signature print appears on water-repellent nylon used in a coverall with a shirt collar, lateral pockets and several zips. Elsewhere, the Shadowbark decorates a reversible blanket lined with orange wool.

Additionally, the collection has a penchant for the color orange, which is known in the workwear industry for its safety-first, visibility purposes. The bright hue covers a windproof puffer jacket made with ripstop nylon and an all-weather overshirt constructed with 100% wool.

The “Woolrich by STP” collection is now available to shop on Woolrich’s website, on the STP website and at SlamJam.

In more fashion news, The Rolling Stones and MTV have united for a new capsule collection.
