Goldwin 0 Presents a New Technically-Focused Collection for SS23

Heritage Japanese outerwear brand Goldwin 0 has just presented its newest collection for Spring/Summer 2023.

Coming hot on the heels of its recently-unveiled collaboration with Actual Source, Goldwin’s newest installment is a project that once again aligns itself with nature. Traditionally, Goldwin is best known for its technical hiking gear, crafted with breathable and lightweight fabrications that make outdoor excursions easy. This new collection brings more of the same, however, it experiments with more materiality, sports silhouettes, and bold colorways.

Designed by Julia Rodowicz in collaboration with emerging designer Jean-Luc Ambridge — one of Hypebeast’s UK designers to watch — the collection leads with a selection of knitwear with utilitarian undertones. Furthermore, the styles are crafted from WHOLEGARMENT 3D technology and Spiber Brewed Protein yard that is designed to withstand unkind outdoor elements while also standing durably next to harsh terrains.

Collection highlights come in the form of new co-ord styles that are coated in bright blue hues, for example. The jacket-shorts combination is crafted from lightweight materials, while the overarching hood of the jacket is used to battle windier elements. Additionally, the zip-up jacket is also complemented with embossed Goldwin branding on the chest.

And while Goldwin 0 is keeping things fairly under wraps at the moment, you can take a closer look at what we have seen of the collection so far, and the full capsule is expected to be available on the brand’s official website in early March.
