Givenchy's SS23 Campaign Shines a Light on Jamaican Artist Alkaline
Showcasing the brand’s latest collection through Alkaline’s authentic viewpoint.
Following its collaboration with Disney to celebrate 100-years in film, Givenchy now gears up to present its all-new Spring/Summer 2023 campaign led by Creative Director Matthew M. Williams. The visuals see multi-faceted Jamaican artist, Alkaline, rock the brand’s latest collection while placing him under an immersive light.
Here, Givenchy continues exploring its deep connection with music by allowing Alkaline to wear every piece as he would in his daily life. With authenticity at the forefront, the brand looks to inspire others with Alkaline’s easygoing personality.
The artist sets his own spin on Givenchy’s SS23 collection, channeling a concealed attitude while sporting elevated outerwear and camouflage-printed tracksuits with “ripped and repaired” detailing. Energetic spirits are communicated via diverse poses, boasting streetwear-inspired garments blended with sophisticated tailoring. White and black leather motorcycle jackets are accented with Givenchy emblems and matched with slouchy cargo pants for a complete look.
Elsewhere, the Jamaican musician accessories with standard bandanas, beanies, and Givenchy’s futuristic eyewear styles. The brand’s fresh take on footwear is also presented, accompanied by sleek caps that deliver a sporty perspective.
