'Avatar: The Way of Water' Tops Domestic Box Office for Fifth Weekend

James Cameron‘s Avatar: The Way of Water leads the domestic box office for a fifth weekend.
According to reports, the sequel garnered an additional $7 million USD from 4,035 locations on January 13 to boost its total domestic earnings to $538.8 million, and is projected to earn $36 million USD during the four-day Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend.
The Way of Water is currently the 14th-highest grossing film in the history of the domestic box office, right behind 2019’s The Lion King and Incredibles 2, is the seventh-highest grossing film worldwide with its current global earnings of $1.7 billion USD and could possibly be the first film to pass the $2 billion USD worldwide mark since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Elsewhere in entertainment, Bryan Cranston revealed that a Malcolm in the Middle movie could be possible.
