adidas Uncovers an ULTRA 4DFWD "Wonder Taupe" Colorway
An earthy ensemble for the tech-heavy model.

First introduced during the Summer ‘22 season, the adidas ULTRA 4DFWD has been rolling out in new colorways at a steady pace. While it’s been overshadowed by the brand’s high-level collaborations with the likes of Pharrell, it’s ready to make a bigger impact in 2023 by dropping in a new slew of colorways. One that’s hitting the shelves this month is the adidas ULTRA 4DFWD “Wonder Taupe” which has just been revealed.
The kicks are earthy in every sense of the word. The sneakers’ PrimeKnit textile uppers are casted with a “Wonder Taupe” hue that covers the ventilated toe boxes, side panels, sock-like collars and tongues. The quarter cages and heel cups are each treated with a skin-like tone, the former hosting striped branding while the latter hosts an “ULTRA 4DFWD” hit with “Night Metallic” finishes. Underneath, the lifestyle runners are equipped with an exposed 4D cushioning unit in which its latticed constructions are dyed with glossy black finishes. And to round things off, Continental rubber has been implemented into the soles for substantial grip.
Interested in copping? The adidas ULTRA 4DFWD “Wonder Taupe” is slated for a January 15 release via adidas. The retail price is set at $220 USD.
Elsewhere in sneakers, an adidas Trae Young 2 “Stratosphere” colorway has been revealed.
