Y-3's Fall Footwear Includes New Gazelle Silhouette
Landing alongside new colorways of the Qasa High, UltraBOOST 22, Hokori II and Shiku Run.
adidas and Yohji Yamamoto came together on the runway in 2002 as Y-3, serving as collaborative pioneers by blending sportswear with fashion in collections released each year since. As a result, the label has reworked countless adidas silhouettes with a premium, modern edge. In continuation of this, Y-3 now looks to the classic adidas Gazelle alongside new colorways of signature models such as the Qasa High in this fall’s Y-3 footwear collection.
Part of the wider “Memories of Orange” collection, the footwear range begins with the Y-3 Gazelle. Reimagined with a larger, intricate sole unit and Y-3 branding, this take on the iconic sneaker distinctly elevates it in off-white and black colorways. Next, the cult classic Y-3 Qasa High returns, this time in a bright orange textile upper with supporting suede detailing and an off-white tubular sole unit. The Y-3 UltraBOOST 22 arrives in an all-white look that carries a Primeknit upper enclosed by a molded TPU cage, offering a unique shape to the sneaker. Looking to the Hokori II, black and white colorways feature a heavy tumbled leather upper with neoprene segments. The Y-3 Shiku Run completes the range in an all-white colorway with a layered mesh and woven upper alongside the sneaker’s signature cord system.
Release for this fall’s Y-3 footwear collection takes place September 21 at 10am EDT via adidas. Pricing begins at $300 USD for the Gazelle and goes up to $400 USD for the Qasa High.
