UNDERCOVER x WTAPS Joins Converse Addict on the Chuck Taylor High
In continuation of the two Japanese labels’ “ONE ON ONE” collection.
Japanese labels UNDERCOVER and WTAPS connected earlier this year on a collaborative two-part “ONE ON ONE” capsule. Now, in continuation of this collection, a three-way collaboration with Converse Addict on the Chuck Taylor High is set to release. Converse Addict, part of Converse Japan, offers limited quantity product in high-quality presentations of classic Converse silhouettes.
Teased since the end of 2021, this special edition Chuck Taylor High is finally ready to hit shelves. The familiar Chuck Taylor High shape is constructed of an eight eyelet cotton canvas upper backed by a classic white Converse sole unit and black Vibram outsole. Collaborative detailing begins with a diagonal zipper on the upper’s lateral next to UNDERCOVER x WTAPS “ONE ON ONE” collection branding in white. On the medial, a black and white Converse Chuck Taylor patch is featured. A special heel tab in the form of the “ONE ON ONE” ribbon rounds out the upper’s detailing while each brand’s tag arrives on the interior alongside a Converse Addict insole, completing the look.
Exclusive to Japan, the UNDERCOVER x WTAPS x Converse Addict Chuck Taylor High is set to launch October 1 via select UNDERCOVER and WTAPS stores. Pricing for this release is set at ¥33,000 JPY (approx. $228 USD).
