National Geographic’s all-new merch capsule rallies a new generation of adventurers to redefine the bounds of outdoor exploration through a contemporary lens. Comprised of a graphic T-shirt, a woven pullover hoodie and jogger set and a zip-up jacket, the anticipated capsule presents on-trend styles fashioned to get you moving, exploring and inspired by the wonders of the marine biome. The capsule will live amongst National Geographic’s women’s, men’s and unisex apparel collection, which will launch across select stores throughout Walt Disney World Resort®, Disney Springs®, Disneyland Resort® and Downtown Disney®. The collection adapts illustrations of fascinating organisms to conjure a new appreciation for the ocean’s vast and diverse ecosystems while providing versatile street and sport appeal for modern-day adventurers.

Upon opening, the curated capsule brings to life National Geographic’s mission statement of “illuminating the wonder of the world” through these ocean-inspired, lifestyle pieces. Tucked underneath is a midnight blue T-shirt, featuring a ribbed scoop neck with branding applied to the bottom hem. The style is replete with graphic illustrations on the front and back panels; the latter depicts a wild octopus overlay atop stylized typography.

The head-to-toe jogger set arrives just in time for fall as a transitional, cold-weather kit suited for exploration and street. Drawing inspiration from arctic landscapes, each style is decorated with a crackled wave pattern repeated throughout. The pullover features a traditional kangaroo pocket, a drawstring hood, ribbed cuffs and a fitted hem. The matching joggers are tapered with a relaxed fit and adjustable drawstring at the waist; oversized french pockets at the front and a welt pocket at the back complete the silhouette. Rounding out the collection is a full-zip jacket equipped with built-in padding made from 100% recycled polyester. Its outer shell showcases seam details around the zipper pockets. Refined details at the ribbed cuffs, like the built-in thumb holes, provide sporty functionality. A blacked-out glacier pattern adorns the jacket’s inner lining.

Stay tuned for National Geographic’s apparel collection, featuring an assortment of unisex, utility-centric silhouettes inspired by aquatic ecosystems and captivating organisms native to the ocean.
