UNIQLO and Jonathan Anderson’s London-based label JW Anderson are reconnecting once again this Fall/Winter 2022, marking the 5th anniversary of the popular collaboration between the duo. For the upcoming series, JW Anderson delivers a range of simple, cozy, and accessible pieces which JWA imagines would live in harmony with a British modernist house.

Complimenting the minimalist backdrops are mostly logoless, rustically patterned layers. While simple on the surface, quality and detail aren’t forgotten with trousers and odorless socks lined in HEATTECH while turtleneck sweaters and polos arrive in Merino wool and premium lambswool blends. Other highlights include the holiday season-ready Fair Isle Souffle Yarn sweaters and flannels found in various patterns as well as staple outwear pieces including ultra-light quilted down parkas, windproof fleece zip-up jackets, and tobacco-toned padded half coats.

“Over the years, with each collection, we’ve developed this really collaborative relationship with UNIQLO that’s interesting to see evolve. Any good collaboration has to involve a meeting of two minds or two brands, with the blend or tension of the codes from each. It’s a challenge but the teams work together and we can see the elements of JW Anderson applied to framework of UNIQLO. UNIQLO can tick boxes globally—I really admire that. I find Mr.Yanai and his vision so inspiring,” comments Anderson regarding his feelings towards the 5th anniversary of the UNIQLO collaboration.

Take a deeper dive into the collection here, and expect the JW Anderson x UNIQLO FW22 collection to release globally October 14.
