Pantofola d’Oro and Venice Beach FC Link Up to Celebrate the Diversity of Football

Birthed in 1886, Italian footwear brand Pantofola d’Oro has historically held its roots in football. Worn by some of the greatest players in the game, including Mané Garrincha, José João Altafini and Enrique Sívori, its handcrafted silhouettes consistently don delicate leather craftsmanship for supreme comfort on the field. As said by legendary Juventus player John Charles: “It’s not a shoe, this is a slipper, a golden slipper.”

Celebrating the diversity of global football, Pantofola d’Oro now joins forces with Los Angeles’ Venice Beach FC for a collaborative capsule collection which consists of sneakers, football cleats and clothing. The link-up delivers three footwear offerings spread across performance and lifestyle wear. The iconic Superleggera and Lazzarini cleats have been merged together, featuring sandy leather uppers, gilded accents and protective heel guards. Co-branded hits grace the tongues, while metallic branding is carved into the medials in a vintage fashion.

The Archive sneaker also makes an appearance, promoting a laidback feel inspired by the brand’s dated footwear catalogs. Arriving in black and cream colorways, the day-to-day silhouette features a combined leather and suede construction, in addition to contrasting white and gum sole units.

In the apparel department, T-shirts, zip-up hoodies, sweatshirts, bucket hats and snapbacks see merged branded decor with a tasteful finish, delivered in a palette of light blue, ivory, black and grey.
