LEGO Launches Five Advent Calendars for Holiday 2022
Featuring Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, Friends and City themes.
Each year, LEGO offers advent calendars for the holiday season with various themes receiving their own set. For 2022, five have been prepared with contributions from LEGO Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, Friends and City. Sets include 24 surprises with a built-in labeled door system for each day leading up to Christmas.
First, Star Wars dives into the festivities with five minifigures, three droid figures and 16 mini builds. Key inclusions are brand new C-3PO, R2-D2 and Darth Vader minifigures with festive sweaters. For Marvel, Guardians of the Galaxy serves as the focus of the calendar with six minifigures – Star-Lord, Groot, Mantis, Rocket, Nebula and Drax. With Harry Potter, every three days make up a movie. The first three days feature Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone themed selections with the next three carrying Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets references and so on. The LEGO Friends advent calendar includes four figures such as Santa while LEGO City features six minifigures and several animals.
All five LEGO advent calendars are available now via LEGO and select retailers worldwide. Prices start at $35 USD for the LEGO Friends and LEGO City calendars while the LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Marvel and LEGO Harry Potter sets land at $45 USD. Piece counts range between 268 to 334 pieces.
