Crocs Joins Forces With STAPLE for Second Homing Pigeon Collab
As an ode to the timeless messenger bird.
Crocs continues to expand its clog offerings with the release of a new collaboration with streetwear legend jeffstaple. Jumping into the new season with the second STAPLE x Crocs collab, iconic All-Terrain Clog celebrates the legendary messenger bird in a limited-edition release.
Different from the traditional plastic make of the shoe, the upper part of the clog is covered in open mesh, while the strap is constructed out of fabric and velcro. The open mesh upper features an adjustable strap that secures the Jibbitz in place while red details highlight parts of the rugged outsole and back strap. The Jibbitz fans can get include trinkets that resemble the iconic Homing Pigeon as well as items it might find on the streets of New York. Fans might find Jibbitz like the “Rad” pin, safety pin, bottle cap, mini NYC sewer and an opened STAPLE x Crocs condom as their added accessories to the clogs to spice up their style.
In honor of the collaboration, Crocs is also partnering with jeffstaple himself to create a unique Homing Pigeon NFT, set to launch in the STAPLEVERSE on September 10 at 11 a.m. ET. 123 editions of the NFT will be exclusive to STAPLEVERSE members and 123 editions will be available to non-members and all 246 NFTs will be bundled with a physical pair of the STAPLE X Crocs Homing Pigeon All-Terrain Clogs. Those not a part of the STAPLEVERSE can head to Crocs on September 13 starting at 10 a.m. ET until September 14 at 10 a.m. ET for $75 USD. Each customer is limited to one pair of the Crocs.
