Prodrive has just unveiled a $50,000 USD racing simulator. Made from the highest quality materials, the simulator sees 16 layers of birch steamed into a dynamic fluid shape and finished in lacquered gloss black, and the floating monocoque is made entirely from carbon fiber.
Designed by CALLUM, the Prodrive Racing Simulator sees a 49-inch AOC Dual-QHD 5k resolution curved monitor (165Hz refresh rate), a mechanical pedal box, an electrically adjustable Cobra Nogaro Street seat, Bowers & Wilkins PX7 headphones, a Precision Sim Engineering LM Pro steering wheel (5 rotary dials, 12 push buttons & carbon fibre paddles), and is powered by a bespoke simulator computer with a 12GB GeForce RTX graphics card and 16GB memory.
The simulator utilizes 35 years of accumulated racing knowledge and race data for one of the best experiences available. Those interested can head over to Prodrive to order one today.
In other racing simulator news, Fanatec’s official Bentley steering wheel can be used for both racing sims and the actual Continental GT3.
