New Balance Brings "Rain Cloud" to the 9060
The new silhouette continues to shine.
While New Balance has certainly found success in its classic models, it hasn’t been afraid to introduce new silhouettes to the spotlight. Most recently, this has included the New Balance 9060. Boldly stepping into the picture with a Joe Freshgoods collaboration and runway debut courtesy of Mowalola, New Balance has not hesitated to make an impression with the 9060. Now, following the official reveal of the silhouette and several supporting looks, the 9060 takes on a gray “Rain Cloud” colorway.
The hybrid silhouette which pulls from the 990 series and early 2000s running shoes such as the 860 opts for shades of gray and off-white in its latest look. Its mixed material upper matches mesh with pigskin suede overlays while various silvers hit the iconic “N” logo. On the lateral, the “N” is solid while the medial’s logo favors a deconstructed look made up of parallel lines. Lastly, the dual-density midsole combines ABZORB technology and SBS cushioning as it rests above the diamond outsole pattern.
New Balance has yet to share a release date for the New Balance 9060 “Rain Cloud,” however, select retailers such as YME Universe are scheduled to launch the pair September 2 at 6pm EDT for $150 USD.
In other footwear news, the New Balance 1906R has been updated with a new “Black” colorway.
