Beyoncé's 'RENAISSANCE' Debuts at No. 1 as 2022's Biggest Opening Week by a Woman

Beyoncé‘s RENAISSANCE is opening this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 1 and has set a new 2022 record.

The 16-track record debuted with a total of 332,000 equivalent album units in its first week, giving Bey the biggest debut week by a woman and the second-largest week of 2022 so far. RENAISSANCE’s total includes 190,000 in album sales, 138,000 in streaming equivalent album units (179.06 million on-demand streams of the tracks) and 4,000 in track equivalent album units; it also marks the largest streaming week for an album by a woman in 2022 by on-demand official streams and is the artist’s largest streaming week in her career.

Elsewhere on the chart, Bad Bunny steps down to No. 2 after seven non-consecutive weeks at No. 1, followed by ATEEZ, Morgan Wallen and Harry Styles at Nos. 3, 4 and 5, respectively. Making up the bottom half of this week’s top 10 are ENHYPEN, $uicideboy$, Dance Gavin Dance, Future and Drake.
