ASICS continues to ping pong back and forth with its releases by building out its catalog of its retro runners as well as introducing the market to entirely new silhouettes. In line with the latter, the Japanese footwear brand first debuted its all-new GEL-SONOMA 15-50 model earlier this year, and it’s finally returned to center stage in two fresh colorways.

The first pair in this launch set shows face with a tonal motif. Save for the tiny hint of gold that drapes the branding on the tongues, the kicks’ honeycomb-textured mesh underlays, buttery suede overlays, laces, interior liners, and cages are all dripped in a wolf-grey-like color. This neutral hue also bleeds into the midsoles while the treading deviates with a slightly darker shade.

Its release sibling comes prepared with a two-toned theme. Mesh base constructions, the throat and the interior liners are fashioned in a solid black hue while the toe tip overlays, cages and ASICS stripes are coated in beige. Additionally, the perforated overlays next to the throat and on the collars contrast with a lighter gold tint.

Check out a closer look at the capsule above and find these at retailers like atmos Tokyo for ¥11,000 (approx. $81 USD).

In other news, the JJJJound x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 finally has a release date.
