Tom Sachs Store to Open in Chicago
Offering exclusive merchandise.
Following the announcement of his first furniture exhibition in the United States in over two decades, Tom Sachs is now readying a new temporary store opening in Chicago’s Notre boutique. For a limited time between July 29 and July 31, exclusive Tom Sachs merchandise will be available at the location.
To celebrate the opening, a raffle for Tom Sachs’ highly-coveted Nikecraft General Purpose Shoe will also be held by Theaster Gates’ Stony Island Arts Bank at the concurrent Tom Sachs: Furniture exhibition held in Chicago’s southside. Launched in partnership with Anthony Gallery and Rebuild Foundation, guests who make a donation of $10 USD or more will receive a raffle ticket for the shoes, with all donations going towards the Theaster Gates’ Rebuild Foundation aimed at strengthening communities through supporting young artists and cultural development projects.
Raffle tickets will be available between July 29 and July 30.
