Tom Sachs Announces Re-Release of NikeCraft "General Purpose Shoe"
“The General Purpose Shoe is designed to be a perennial. It will be restocked and accessible again.”
Following a high-anticipated release that quickly sold out, Tom Sachs has revealed that his NikeCraft “General Purpose Shoe” collaboration will be re-releasing. The artist took to Instagram to share that the shoe designed for everyday life will be available again this summer.
The Tom Sachs x NikeCraft “General Purpose Shoe” debuted in a “Light Cream/White/Light Bone” colorway with a low-cut mesh and suede overlay upper. Other designs on the shoe are bright blue pull tabs, “NIKE” debossed at the rear, Tom Sach’s marked tongue tags and printed insoles. Finally, the shoe is elevated by tan midsoles and contrasting waffle tread black rubber outsoles.
The latest in Tom Sachs’ collaborative relationship was designed with a breathable knit, a microfiber collar, straps, and a three-piece molded cup sole, to “provide comfort, support, and a high degree of tactile sensation in a well-priced product.”
Priced at $110 USD, the Tom Sachs x NikeCraft “General Purpose Shoe” is expected to re-release sometime in August. Head over to GOAT to cop the collaboration right now.
