Nintendo Readies a Special-Edition 'Splatoon 3' Switch OLED
Arriving this August.
To celebrate the release of the highly-anticipated third-person shooter game Splatoon 3, Nintendo is delivering a special-edition Switch OLED makeover featuring bright gradient colors, themed artwork, and paint splotch details. The upcoming Splatoon 3 model will be the first special release from the new OLED series which was introduced in October of last year.
Highlights of the exclusive set include the colorful Joycons found in gradient purple and green with themed artwork from the game and bubble details on the back. The main console features a space grey back casing featuring artworks in a reflective metallic finish and the similarly-styled dock is found in lighter hues with yellow paint splatter detailing.
The Nintendo Switch OLED Model Splatoon 3 Edition will be available August 26 for $360 USD ($10 USD more than the regular OLED), meanwhile, the complete set including the Pro Controller and Carrying Case will arrive on September 9 in conjunction with the release of Splatoon 3. Pre-orders are now open on the Nintendo website.
