Superkicks opens multipurpose flagship store.
India based lifestyle brand, Superkicks, launched its latest flagship store in a new two-story building in New Delhi. The 2400 sqft store is divided into two zones, the ground floor being the main retail space and the second zone being “The Basement”, a multipurpose retail-cultural space to hold events for the community.
The Superkicks store explores a terracotta theme that adds vibrancy to the space, merged with visual elements and geometric shapes. The concept is a take on old school aesthetics with a modern twist on sneaker culture, taking us back to the basics of old Delhi with perfect imperfections.
The space is an architectural marvel, with one of the major design inspirations being the Red Fort. This celebrates the Indian heritage and infuses modern and simple elements to create a unique environment.
The floors are complete with an acid wash and no wall has been kept straight to recreate a comfortable space full of imperfections, where it almost feels like the base is hand-made with new age bright display units and products.
The store is located within the nostalgic nook known as Priya Market, home to the first Priya Village Roadshow Theater.
