Element’s FW22 Collection is an Ode to the Outdoors

Kicking off its 30th anniversary celebrations, Element launches its Fall/Winter 2022 collection that honors its unparalleled spirit for skateboarding and the outdoors.

In true Element style, the skate-focussed label crafts a FW22 collection that compiles a mash-up of styles inspired by skateboarding, nature and culture. Capturing the essence of modern day skate culture, the first line elevates the brand’s classic items with contemporary streetwear finishes. Technical jackets go sleek with a block-toned micro-ripstop fabric, while polycotton pants adopt a relaxed yet tailored silhouette.

As well as refashioning its perennial styles, Element taps into 70s and 80s utilitarian styles, particularly vintage mountaineering gear. It incorporates high-gloss insulators into the line, which can be worn solo for an impactful look or layered for extra protection in the winter.

The remainder of the collection is split into a men’s and women’s line, with a contrastingly rugged autumnal feel inspired by adventure camping. In the men’s offering, shaggy fleece jackets are paired with undyed denim jeans, flannel shirts and a selection of hats. Meanwhile, the women’s line is doused in plum tones and patterned fabrics which appear on casual skirts, jumpsuits and fleece gilets.

Element has also revealed it will team up with past and new collaborators including Millet, Public Enemy and Donny Barley for special collections in the coming months.
