Arsenal’s New Away Jersey Bridges the Gap Between North London and the Rest of the World
Aston Mack, founder of the Orlando Freedom Fighters, fronts the campaign.





Arsenal Football Club and adidas have just presented their new away jersey for the 2022/23 Premier League season.
Designed with a black and carbon base, the new away strip for The Gunners also comes with the customary adidas Three Stripe in grey while the canon badge and kit sponsoring is coated in a bronze hue. The new kit pays homage to Arsenal fans in the United States of America and outlines ways for supporters around the world to feel connected to North London.
Fronting the campaign for the latest jersey, Aston Mack, the founder of the Orlando Freedom Fighters, stands alongside Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe. Mack is best known to supporters when was seen sporting an Arsenal shirt during a Black Lives Matter demonstration in Orlando in 2020, before explaining how the shirt filled him with strength and pride. Speaking about the launch of the new kit, Mack said:
“As a proud Orlando Gooner, to me, the Arsenal jersey means strength, solidarity and pride. When I wear the jersey, it takes me to another world. I feel protected, I feel connected, I feel part of a bigger community. I’m proud of Arsenal for presenting what our jersey means to people like me. It’s more than a jersey, it’s a representation of home and family, no matter where we’re from or where we live.”
The new Arsenal away jersey will make its first appearance in front of fans during The Gunners’ opening match of the F.C. Series for their pre-season tour against Orlando City. The shirt will be worn with black shorts and socks and it is now available on the official Arsenal webstore and the official adidas website.
