Zion Williamson Teases an Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Voodoo"
Matching the launch colorway of the Jordan Zion 2.
While New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson has had limited playtime since being drafted first in the 2019 NBA Draft, he has wasted no time in making noise in the sneaker game. Signing with Jordan Brand in 2019, Williamson has already made an impact with personalized colorways and his own signature shoe line which just launched its follow-up model, the Jordan Zion 2, today. In celebration of this, Zion Williamson took to his Instagram page to share a look at his Jordan Zion 2 “Voodoo” alongside a never-before-seen Air Jordan 1 Low OG in a matching look.
The “Voodoo” version of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG brings the same detailing as its predecessor with elements such as color-blocking in complementary shades of brown, green and gray. Additional “voodoo activity” includes flipped branding at the tongue and heel, the skull logo and Zion’s “Voodoo” branding from his Jordan Zion 2 at the sockliner. A dark brown hits the uniquely stitched Swooshes, heel and outsole to round out this eye-catching colorway.
Williamson suggests that the “Voodoo” treatment of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG will be coming soon as he prompted his Instagram following to “stay tuned.” For now, check the pair out below and keep an eye out for more news to surface later this year.
