Danner and WIND AND SEA Link Up for Outdoor Staples
Featuring Mizugumo flip-flops for recovery.
Following collaborations with Wildside, Yohji Yamamoto and Vans, Takashi Kumagai‘s streetwear label WIND AND SEA and heritage boots manufacturer Danner have announced a second collaboration featuring monochrome outdoor staples. Highlighting the collection is a special-edition pair of Danner’s Mizugumo Flip sandals.
The open-toe footwear was made specifically for recovery and relieving foot fatigue, featuring lightweight construction, shock-absorbant EVA soles, and mismatched “WIND” and “SEA” co-branding. Apparel pieces include boxy pocket tees with reversed text below the front collar, co-branded tags on the sleeves, and large pyramidal Danner typography on the back. Rounding out the assortment are two draw-chord safari hats found in similar branding accents.
The collaboration will be available at the WIND AND SEA web store on July 1 followed by a release at ABC-MART, STUMPTOWN, and select retailers.
