Hot off the heels of the release of his seventh studio album HONESTLY, NEVERMIND, Drake is drawing our gaze back to his ever-growing signature line with Nike. Up next for the 6God’s is the release of the NOCTA x Nike Air Hot Step “Black/University Gold”, and after surfacing by way of leaked imagery in May 2022, we now have a look at the shoe’s official photos.

Those who have followed the OVO artist’s fashion journey throughout the years know that he tends to pander to sporty and understaed color palettes, and that’s precisely what this newest iteration reflects. A solid black hue is used to guide its visual composition as it is utilized across the leather uppers, mesh tongues, interior lining and a majority of the sculpted midsole pieces. Its “University Gold” hue comes secondary for this rendition and pours over the NOCTA logos that are housed inside the tongue badges, eyelets, tiny Swooshes that appear on the toe boxes and lateral heels, as well as the rear pieces of the midsole that exposes an Air unit.

Drake and Nike are likely to announce the official launch info for these in the coming weeks.

In case you missed it, a closer look at the model’s purple colorway has also emerged.
