One of the most recognizable and sought-after silhouettes in the sneaker game, Jordan Brand’s iconic Air Jordan 1 receives new looks year after year. However, the availability ranges from general releases to limited drops to friends and family exclusives. With Jasmine Jordan’s Air Jordan 1 “Green Croc” PE, its availability falls into the last category. Daughter to Michael Jordan himself, Jasmine is no stranger to collaborating with the Jordan Brand team. Now, courtesy of English Sole, we’ve been given a detailed look at one of her most desired projects.
The history of this pair begins with Jasmine Jordan sharing pictures of the shoe in 2015. Since then, no word on a release ever came up and they’ve been labeled a PE available to friends and family only. Key elements include a signature crocodile textured suede upper in green with gold Swooshes adding a strong hit of color. A unique insole uses Michael Jordan’s finger print, a Jumpman and Jasmine’s name all in gold atop a dark shade of green. Golden aglets and tongue details combine with a gum outsole to complete the look.
Considering the circumstances, we don’t expect these to ever fully release so interested buyers will have to keep an eye out for more pairs to surface secondhand.
