Converse Aeon Active CX Arrives in "Bone" and "Himalayan Salt"
Featuring Nike React cushioning.
Following the release of special-edition colorways from Samuel Ross‘ A-COLD-WALL*, Converse readies two new “Bone” and “Himalayan Salt” colorways of the unconventional Aeon Active CX runners. Arriving as a welcome departure from Converse’s ubiquitous Chuck Taylors and One Stars, the Aeon Active CX opts for an experimental and futuristic design incorporating sleek paneled uppers comprised of leather, mesh, and synthetics.
Defining features include an integrated mesh tongue, perforated rear pull tab, and extended rubber pieces stretching over the heel. Crater foam used on the A-COLD-WALL* pairs is exchanged for Nike React cushioning and textured rubber outsoles complete the look. The “Bone colorway” arrives in shades of sail-white while the “Himalayan Salt” pairs feature “Obsidian Mist” uppers with hits of pink on the heel and cream midsoles.
The two new Aeon Active CX sneakers will be available via select retailers in Europe on June 14 for $150. Stay tuned for U.S. and international release dates to be announced.
