Future's 'I NEVER LIKED YOU' Officially Goes Gold
While the Drake and Tems-assisted cut “WAIT FOR U” was certified platinum.
Future took home a number of new gold and platinum RIAA certifications for his latest record.
The rapper took home a total of three new certifications, including two gold plaques for the fan-favorite track “PUFFIN ON ZOOTIEZ” and for I NEVER LIKED YOU as it officially sold 500,000 units in the United States, while the Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper “WAIT FOR U” featuring Drake and Tems sold over a million units to officially go platinum.
I NEVER LIKED YOU gave Future the biggest debut of his career so far as it opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 221,512 units in its first week. It also briefly held the record for the biggest debut for a 2022 album.
Elsewhere in music, BET has shared a statement in response to Lil Nas X’s “F*ck BET” diss track and his allegations of homophobia.
