Stevie Grimes Teases New Casablanca Sneaker Silhouette
Following the label’s “Futuro Optimisto” SS23 show.

Coming off Casablanca‘s runway show in Paris which presented a dreamy and hopeful “Futuro Optimisto” SS23 collection, art director Stevie Grimes offers a closer look at the label’s new sneaker silhouette. Having collaborated with New Balance on multiple special-edition iterations of the 327, 237, and XC-72 since 2020, Casablanca now readies its very own laceless sneaker.
The upcoming pairs incorporate the brand’s signature soft pastel hues with gradient blue and yellow uppers, asymmetric suede panels on the toe, and a zip-up tongue. A “casa sport” logo is printed on the laterals and additional Casablanca logos are found on the metallic zipper tag and rubber heel emblem. Wavy stacked midsoles comprised of yellow and pink panels are elevated by split arch-groove outsoles to complete the look.
Take an early look at the new Casablanca sneakers above and stay tuned for more details.
