Theory Gives UNIQLO a Minimalist Makeover for SS22

UNIQLO is always a forerunner when it comes to relaxed yet streamlined staples. However, its latest collaboration with Theory for the Spring/Summer 2022 season, takes this cadence up a notch.

With an emphasis on modern tailoring, the collaboration represents a minimalist take on elevated everyday pieces. Bringing this mission to fruition are relaxed silhouettes that utilize UNIQLO’s lightweight Ulta Light fabric series dipped in soft shades of fresh concrete, buttermilk, toffee, olive green, black and white. Pieces in the collection include suits, shorts, polo shirts, t-shirts, lightweight overshirts, jackets and dresses.

By creating an array of versatile pieces, the collaborative collection centers on everyday comfort that will stand throughout time. Just last month, the Japanese retailer linked up with Marni for an offering that played with floral prints and several patterns. Aside from the explosion of color, the offering had a lot to say about fun-filled voluminous silhouettes and eye-catching styling.
