Marni Gives UNIQLO LifeWear a Dose of Flower Power
Take a closer look at the full collaboration here.

Francesco Risso‘s Marni and the archetype of essential fashion UNIQLO have officially unveiled their upcoming collaboration. First seen earlier this month, the Marni x UNIQLO collection is distinctively influenced by the former’s playful, irreverent, joyful spirit, in turn adding ’70s florals, soft checkered prints, bold stripes, and a confident use of color to every piece in the comprehensive drop.
UNIQLO LifeWear acts as the base, serving immaculate silhouettes and considered proportions for a modern aesthetic, while Marni’s application of prints and graphics taps into its retro mindset. Combined, it’s arguably one of UNIQLO’s finest collaborations to date, which has previously proffered preppy works from JW Anderson, tonal layering from Jil Sander, and collectibles from Daniel Arsham x Pokémon.
Here, ballooning volume and relaxed silhouettes are key, building on UNIQLO’s theme of universality and everyday-wear garments. Marni injects fun into something designed for all occasions, adding pleating to the skirts, tailoring to jackets and pants, while UNIQLO’s BLOCKTECH makes a coat technically sound and a pocketable parka conveniently stylish.
Completing the range is a selection of socks, guaranteed to complement any Marni x UNIQLO look — or even the most staple-heavy looks in your wardrobe. Check out the lookbook above, and shop the range worldwide on the dedicated Marni x UNIQLO website from May 26. Pricing ranges from $12.90 USD to $179.90 USD.
